Hamdan bin Mohammed: “Desert Flag 10” Represents Living Evidence of International Military Cooperation and Experience Sharing

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, attended the conclusion of the joint military exercise “Desert Flag 10” held in the UAE, featuring elite air forces from friendly and allied nations. This event showcased international military cooperation and the sharing of expertise in real operational environments.

During the exercise, Sheikh Hamdan observed a series of advanced training operations, which were attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defense, Major General Rashid Mohammed Al Shamsi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, along with several high-ranking officers and officials. The training focused on managing air operations within a multinational framework, aimed at enhancing combat readiness and fostering collaboration across various levels.

The Crown Prince commended the advanced level demonstrated by the participating forces, highlighting their coordination in implementing operational doctrines and procedures, reflecting the integration and harmony in command and control operations.

He praised the high readiness and proficiency exhibited by the participants during the exercise, underscoring the elevated level of training and professionalism present in both our armed forces and those of the participating nations.

He stated, “We are proud of our air forces’ readiness and their ability to handle multiple scenarios that mirror real operational challenges. The high-level performance is a result of the support and guidance of our wise leadership in continuing to invest in quality training, developing advanced defensive capabilities, and building a deterrent and effective force capable of executing all missions swiftly and accurately.”

Through a post on X, he remarked, “I attended the conclusion of the joint military exercise ‘Desert Flag 10’, featuring elite air forces from friendly and allied nations, a vivid representation of international military cooperation and expertise sharing aimed at enhancing combat readiness and promoting joint efforts. We take pride in the high readiness of our air forces and their capability to manage various scenarios. I extend my gratitude to all teams participating in this significant exercise.”

The joint military exercise “Desert Flag 10” is part of an ongoing commitment to develop integrated operational concepts and establish a training environment that reflects real challenges, thus enhancing defensive capabilities and strengthening cooperation and experience exchange among the participating nations.
