Hamdan Bin Mohammed: Following in Mohammed Bin Rashid’s Footsteps, We Learned That a Cohesive Society Fosters Hope and Drives Change

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, attended the conclusion of the joint military exercise “Desert Flag 10” yesterday. This event took place in the UAE and included elite air forces from brotherly and friendly nations, showcasing live international military cooperation and the exchange of expertise in a real operational environment.

During the exercise, attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defense, Major General Rashid Mohammed Al Shamsi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, as well as several senior officers and officials, His Highness observed a series of advanced and diverse drills. These exercises encompassed the management of a multinational air operations theater aimed at enhancing combat readiness and strengthening collaboration at various levels.

His Highness commended the impressive performance demonstrated by the participating forces, highlighting their effective implementation of operational doctrines and procedures, which reflects the integration and harmony in command and control operations.

He praised the high levels of competency and preparedness exhibited by the participants during the exercise, which underscores the advanced level of training and professionalism possessed by the armed forces and the participating nations.

His Highness stated, “We are proud of the readiness of our air forces and their ability to handle various scenarios that mimic operational challenges. The high-level performance is a result of the guidance and support from our wise leadership, continuously investing in specialized training, developing advanced defensive capabilities, and building a strong and effective deterrent force capable of executing all tasks swiftly and accurately.”

In a message shared on the platform “X,” he remarked, “I witnessed the conclusion of the joint military exercise ‘Desert Flag 10’, featuring elite air forces from brotherly and friendly nations. This event is a vivid representation of international military cooperation and the exchange of competencies, aimed at improving combat readiness and enhancing collaborative efforts. We are proud of the high readiness of our air forces and their ability to navigate multiple scenarios, and we thank all the teams involved in this significant exercise.”

The joint military exercise “Desert Flag 10” is part of the ongoing commitment to develop concepts of joint operations and create a training environment that simulates real challenges, thereby enhancing defensive capabilities and strengthening partnerships and experience sharing among participating countries.
