High-Level Singaporean Delegation Praises the UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish

A high-ranking delegation from Singapore visited the Emirati floating hospital in Al-Arish, where they conducted a thorough tour of various sections of the facility and learned about the medical and humanitarian services offered to patients arriving from the Gaza Strip.

During their visit, delegation members interacted with several Palestinian patients receiving treatment at the hospital and listened to their experiences regarding the quality of healthcare and humanitarian support provided by the Emirati medical staff.

Justin Lee, the head of the delegation, expressed his admiration for the hospital’s management and the competence of its personnel, praising the standard of healthcare being delivered.

This visit is part of international cooperation and joint efforts to support humanitarian healthcare in affected regions, highlighting the global community’s recognition of the United Arab Emirates’ role in providing medical and relief assistance.

The Emirati floating hospital is one of the notable humanitarian initiatives of the UAE as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, officially launched on February 23, 2024, to deliver comprehensive medical services to those injured in Gaza.

The hospital features 100 patient beds, 100 beds for companions, state-of-the-art operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology departments, and laboratories, having already treated over 10,000 Palestinian patients.

This initiative underscores the UAE’s commitment to its humanitarian approach in assisting affected populations and enhancing international partnerships to provide urgent medical relief and support during times of crisis.
