His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, led the meeting of the Ministerial Council for Development, which took place at the Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. During this meeting, various developmental proposals and projects presented by ministries and federal entities across different government sectors were discussed.
The meeting’s agenda included discussions on governmental strategies and policies related to education, family empowerment, biodiversity, the judicial system, financial markets, and support for entrepreneurship. Additionally, the council reviewed the performance outcomes of ministries and federal entities in terms of service delivery standards, along with initiatives for digital transformation.
The council also examined legislative projects and regulatory frameworks related to public benefit institutions in the country, the energy sector, the establishment of several specialized federal committees, and suggestions to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the human resources within the federal government.
Furthermore, the council was updated on revised regulations in the healthcare and social development sectors and discussed requests from the Federal National Council concerning various topics linked to the state’s infrastructure network.
