The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Border Security has won the Gulf Cooperation Council award for Customer Service Experience in two categories: “Best Digital Application” and “Best Customer Experience Strategy.” This accolade, presented by AWARDS INTERNATIONAL from the UK, was received during a ceremony held at the InterContinental Hotel in Dubai.
Lieutenant General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, the Director General of the Authority, highlighted that this award reflects the Authority’s success in executing its strategy aimed at strengthening relationships with customers. This strategy focuses on enhancing the performance of identity, citizenship, customs, and border security services, along with a commitment to delivering advanced solutions while improving proactive and digital services for customers effectively and efficiently.
He also noted the Authority’s dedication to enhancing customer experiences and meeting their expectations for accessible, speedy, and secure services from any location. This improvement is achieved by streamlining processes, reducing bureaucracy, collecting data electronically, and involving customers in the innovative design of services, ultimately creating a seamless and enjoyable customer journey. These efforts contribute to the UAE government’s commitment to future services focused on prioritizing human needs, as well as positioning the UAE as a global leader in government service indicators.
