Erdogan, Trump, Saudi Crown Prince, and the Clerical Leadership Held an Online Meeting

On Wednesday, it was reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, U.S. President Donald Trump, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara held an online meeting.

During the discussion, Erdoğan highlighted that Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Syria is of historical significance.

In a surprising announcement on Tuesday, Trump declared that the United States would remove all sanctions imposed on the Syrian government, which is led by Islamists, marking a key objective for Turkey.
