His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, welcomed Jil Mishu, Assistant Secretary-General for Safety and Security at the United Nations, Ivan Kubrakov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus, and Kobanj Toskovski, the Minister of Interior from North Macedonia.
Additionally, the meetings included Matoush Chatoyi Ishtok, the Minister of Interior of Slovakia, Marek Buro, the Chief of Police of Poland, and Lieutenant General Salvatore Longo, the Commander General of the Italian Carabinieri, taking place on the second day of the Global Police Summit 2025.

During these discussions, participants explored ways to enhance collaboration and addressed various topics of mutual interest. Lieutenant General Abdullah Al Marri emphasized that the Dubai Police welcomes all law enforcement leaders globally to engage in the summit.
He highlighted the importance of sharing experiences and expertise in diverse fields to foster cooperation among law enforcement agencies worldwide. At the conclusion of the meetings, the Commander of Dubai Police presented commemorative shields to the visiting delegations, wishing them success and prosperity.
Memorandum
In a related development, the Dubai Police and the Italian National Gendarmerie signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening their cooperative ties and coordination concerning security, training, and the exchange of best practices in institutional services.
The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri on behalf of Dubai Police, and by Lieutenant General Salvatore Longo for the Italian National Gendarmerie.
Key Provisions
The memorandum includes provisions for enhancing collaboration and coordination in training, sharing best practices related to their institutional services, improving public safety and security in both countries, and combating various forms of crime, including transnational crime.
The agreement also involves the exchange of training programs, participation in conferences, exhibitions, and specialized seminars, as well as organizing urgent courses and workshops in the fields of training and capacity building for security.
Furthermore, the memorandum stipulates the establishment of working groups and joint committees to pursue the outlined objectives and others within the memorandum’s scope in future collaborative projects, with defined timeframes and comprehensive action plans and clear outcomes, along with the exchange of information to assist each party in fulfilling their responsibilities.
