A total of 801 participants benefited from the diverse educational programs offered by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, which attracted individuals from 63 different cultures. Additionally, over 2,000 individuals from 98 cultural backgrounds embraced Islam through these initiatives.
This took place at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, highlighting the significant diversity among the center’s beneficiaries during the first quarter of 2025.
During the same period, the center provided Islamic awareness services to more than 1,090 beneficiaries and offered support and training programs to 251 new Muslims. These efforts aim to assist newcomers in integrating and learning within a welcoming and safe environment.
On the educational front, the center organized 54 knowledge courses covering Islamic principles, Arabic language instruction, and Quranic recitation and comprehension. Among these was the awareness course titled “We Answered Him,” which included 273 lessons actively participated in by various groups.
Jasim Mohammed Al-Khazraji, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, stated that these results reflect the department’s commitment to its civilizational and humanitarian mission, solidifying the center’s position as a knowledge hub that promotes the noble values upon which the United Arab Emirates is built, including cultural and religious openness.
Al-Khazraji added, “We are dedicated to developing our cultural and educational programs in alignment with the aspirations of our wise leadership, which aims to foster an intellectually and culturally open society that embraces diversity and encourages constructive dialogue among different cultures.”
