During the Kazakhstan-UAE Business Forum, agreements totaling USD 5 billion were established, covering important economic sectors.
The forum highlighted that the UAE has invested more than USD 4.3 billion in Kazakhstan, positioning itself as the primary trading and investment ally for the nation in the region.
Sessions focusing on the advancement of digital technologies, finance trends, urban development, and the green economy were conducted throughout the forum.
Additionally, B2B meetings took place, bringing together business representatives from both countries.
Notably, an investment agreement for the establishment of a sugar mill in Kazakhstan was signed between the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry and QazaqArab Sugar LLP.
A memorandum for the creation of a data processing center was agreed upon by the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry, the Astana akimat, and Presight.
The Astana Education Department also entered a cooperation memorandum with Emirates Kazakhstan Education Investment Group.
Earlier, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at the Akorda Presidential Palace on Monday.
