The United Arab Emirates has expressed its concern regarding the recent developments in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. The nation has called on all involved parties to de-escalate tensions, cease hostilities, and pursue dialogue along with peaceful measures to resolve disputes.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of civilians, government buildings, and private property. It urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint in order to navigate through the current crisis.
Furthermore, the ministry reiterated the UAE’s stance advocating for a resolution to the conflict in Libya, offering its full support for measures that ensure the country’s security, stability, and unity. This aligns with the outcomes of the roadmap, resolutions from the Security Council, and the ceasefire agreement, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of the Libyan people for development, stability, and prosperity.
