Five Emirati officers participated in the second edition of the specialized diploma in police innovation and international leadership (PIL). This program was organized by the General Command of Dubai Police in partnership with the Rochester Institute of Technology, bringing together a distinguished group of officers from 37 countries across various continents. The Emirati participation showcased a spirit of initiative and represented the nation’s advanced model proudly.
Representing the United Arab Emirates in the diploma were: Major Aissa Harib Al Neyadi from the UAE National Guard, Major Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi, who is the Director of the Specialized Training Branch at the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy, and from Dubai Police, Captain Mohammed Ismail Al Jaziri, First Lieutenant Engineer Ahmed Said Ali Al Amri, and Lieutenant Jawaher Yusuf.
The five officers expressed their sincere gratitude to the wise leadership of the UAE for its commitment to empowering young Emirati leaders in various police sciences and specialties, which positively impacts their capabilities in this crucial area for community safety. They also thanked the General Command of Dubai Police for including them in the diploma program, which features officers from around the globe.
Major Aissa Harib Al Neyadi noted that his experience in the diploma was not merely a conventional training stop, but a transformative journey on personal and professional levels. He emphasized that the program was exceptional, reshaping his concepts of modern leadership and directing his intellectual compass toward more advanced and profound horizons.
Major Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi explained that the diploma changed his leadership approach and decision-making style. He remarked, “I now lean more towards data analysis and risk assessment before making decisions. I have started involving my team in decision-making, which has positively impacted performance quality and efficiency.”
Captain Mohammed Ismail Al Jaziri emphasized that the diploma provided a rich and diverse experience for him and other participants through advanced training modules and knowledge exchange sessions with officers from various backgrounds.
First Lieutenant Ahmed Said Ali Al Amri highlighted that his participation in the specialized diploma in police innovation and international leadership (PIL) marked a significant turning point in his career, reshaping his perceptions of policing tools and integrating technological innovation into security operations.
Lieutenant Jawaher Yusuf stated that the program helped reshape her leadership vision, transitioning from a traditional style to one focused on empowerment, analysis, and listening.
