The Monitoring and Inspection Department “Rasid” of the Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman has reported that it conducted 1,760 field inspections in the first quarter of this year. This initiative is part of a comprehensive regulatory plan designed to detect violations and maintain public infrastructure and facilities.

Additionally, it aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the emirate, aligning with the strategic objectives of the Municipality and Planning Department, which seeks to fulfill the Ajman Vision 2030. This vision aims to create a sustainable urban environment that improves the emirate’s attractiveness and quality of life, while also adapting to rapid transformations in public service development and urban management efficiency.

Dr. Khaled Maeen Al-Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, emphasized that the “Rasid” department has achieved notable results in recent times, thanks to the qualified teams and a control room that operates around the clock.

He noted that the field inspection teams operate within an integrated system that ensures quick responses and immediate handling of complaints received via the hotline (80070) or through the department’s smart application.

He added, “The Rasid team has successfully implemented best regulatory practices through a field plan that encompasses all areas of the emirate, reflecting our commitment to achieving the highest quality standards in urban management and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all residents.”

Mohammed Abdul Wahab, the Director of the Monitoring and Inspection Department “Rasid,” praised the local community’s awareness and its fruitful collaboration with inspection efforts. He highlighted that community partnership plays a crucial role in the success of regulatory plans and achieving desired goals.

He stated, “We are committed to fostering a culture of social responsibility by engaging with various community groups. We also continue to conduct inspections around the clock to identify negative practices and address them according to approved procedures, ensuring the health and safety of residents while preserving the environment.”

He further noted that the intensive field inspections carried out by “Rasid” reflect the Municipality and Planning Department’s dedication to realizing its vision of making Ajman an exemplary city for living and working. This is achieved through the development of a flexible and intelligent regulatory framework and delivering high-quality services that support sustainable development, enhancing the emirate’s position as a comprehensive urban destination.
