Dubai Islamic Holds “100 Future Designers” Program

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, in collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation, has launched a specialized training program entitled “100 Future Designers,” which involves the participation of a selection of the department’s employees from various organizational units.

This program aims to equip attendees with advanced skills in future forecasting, empowering them with analytical tools to identify emerging trends both locally and globally. This initiative supports their ability to engage in strategic planning and make proactive decisions based on scientific assessments of changing variables.

The “100 Future Designers” program is one of the key initiatives designed to instill a culture of proactive thinking among government employees, while also crafting innovative work models that align with Dubai’s strategic objectives for the future.

The curriculum of the program includes a series of practical modules, such as future forecasting tools, signal analysis, building future scenarios, and exploring best global practices in the field.

In this context, Aoucha Ahmed Obaid, Acting Director of Human Resources, emphasized that the organization of this program reflects the department’s commitment to investing in human capital and equipping it with the necessary tools for future preparedness.

She noted that “enhancing competencies with future forecasting skills is a fundamental pillar for establishing a government work system capable of meeting challenges and achieving institutional leadership.”

She added, “We are dedicated to developing advanced training pathways that improve the readiness of our employees, aligning with the Dubai government’s vision to cultivate qualified national leaders who can anticipate transformations and create a sustainable future based on innovation and resilience.”

Through these initiatives, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department aims to make a significant contribution to building an advanced government framework that keeps pace with changes and supports Dubai’s path to leadership, under a comprehensive strategic direction for future foresight and the implementation of best global practices in government operations.
