A delegation from the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority, represented by the Research and Studies Department, visited the University of Sharjah. The primary goal of this visit was to enhance collaborative efforts between the two entities, particularly in scientific research, knowledge exchange, training, and organizing joint activities that benefit the community and contribute to sustainable development in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Dr. Engineer Hassan Al-Zarouni, the Director of the Research and Studies Department at the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority, emphasized that the authority plays a crucial role in serving the emirate directly. He highlighted the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership with the University of Sharjah to leverage its research and academic capabilities in developing innovative solutions to challenges faced by the energy, water, and gas sectors.
During the visit, the delegation toured the university’s research facilities and specialized laboratories, where they observed the latest technologies and research projects being undertaken by students and researchers across various engineering and scientific disciplines.
