Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and Santiago Peña, the President of Paraguay, held discussions today on various aspects of cooperation and mutual efforts. This meeting took place during President Peña’s official visit to the UAE, which was hosted at the Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Both leaders reviewed several topics of mutual interest and exchanged perspectives, emphasizing their commitment to advancing bilateral relations and harnessing diverse opportunities to foster cooperation that serves their shared goals.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to broadening its economic and developmental partnerships while enhancing collaborative ties with Latin American nations, particularly Paraguay. In attendance at the meeting were Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs’ Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, along with various dignitaries including Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, UAE National Security Council Secretary-General, and Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, among others, along with the accompanying delegation of President Peña.
