The Content Director at TikTok Outlines Strategies for Captivating the Audience

Sarah Al-Maaz, the Director of Content Creation at TikTok, emphasized the importance of regularly updating content to encourage followers to engage with creators and enhance their connection.

During a session titled “Content Creation and Audience Engagement,” organized by the Dubai Press Club as part of the “Arab Media Summit 2025” launching today, she stated: “The content creation industry and the methods to attract audiences are highlighted alongside the technological advancements seen in media, particularly in terms of delivering messages and strategies to audiences within the context of new media and artificial intelligence, which are characterized by speed, creativity, and innovation.”

She noted that the more appealing and valuable the content is to the audience, the more it will continue to capture their interest over time. To create enduring content, she advised following essential steps, starting with understanding the audience and their needs, ensuring that the content is relevant to the creator’s niche, addressing the target audience’s needs, and providing added value to help solve their problems and achieve their goals. Additionally, she recommended diversifying content to maintain audience interest, incorporating various formats such as images, videos, articles, and visual posts to make the content both diverse and beneficial.
