The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that 179 individuals were affected by a recent incident, including 21 fatalities, five cases of clinical death, and 30 individuals with severe injuries who were transported to hospitals due to Israeli airstrikes targeting crowds in the aid distribution area in Rafah early Sunday morning.
In a press release shared on Facebook, the Gaza Health Authority stated that emergency rooms, surgical wards, and intensive care units are experiencing extreme overcrowding due to the high number of injured patients.
Furthermore, they highlighted a critical shortage of surgical supplies and resources for operating rooms and intensive care, noting that the cases in these departments urgently require blood units and their components amid a significant decline in donations attributed to anemia and malnutrition.
