Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez have strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and rejected all attempts to forcibly displace Palestinian citizens from their land.
Both leaders called for an immediate ceasefire and urged for the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid. They emphasized the need to create favorable conditions for implementing a two-state solution by expanding recognition of the Palestinian state and mobilizing support for the Arab-Islamic plan to rebuild Gaza without displacing its residents.
This discussion took place during a phone call between President el-Sisi and Prime Minister Sánchez.
The official spokesperson for the presidency clarified that the conversation also covered the evolving situations in Syria, Lebanon, and Libya. The importance of preserving the unity and territorial integrity of these nations, alongside ensuring the security of their populations, was highlighted. Additionally, continued coordination and consultation between Egypt and Spain on various regional issues were reaffirmed as part of their collaborative efforts to restore stability in the region.
