Seven Lives Lost Due to Train Derailment in Russia

Seven people lost their lives and 35 others were injured on Saturday after a passenger train derailed in the Bryansk region of Russia, which borders Ukraine and Belarus. The incident was caused by the collapse of a road bridge above the train tracks.

According to Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of Bryansk, the accident occurred at 10:50 PM Moscow time (19:50 GMT) in the Fighonishski area.

Debris from the collapsed bridge fell onto the train as it passed below, resulting in serious injuries, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations through TASS news agency.
