On May 29, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan hosted a delegation of business leaders from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), headed by Syed Basar Shueb, the CEO and Managing Director of International Holding Company.
During the discussions, both parties highlighted the increasing collaboration between Azerbaijan and the UAE in various domains, especially in economic and trade activities, as reported by AZERTAC.
The importance of reciprocal visits between President Ilham Aliyev and President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was underscored, noting their role in enhancing bilateral ties.
The dialogue also recognized the favorable conditions for business and investment that Azerbaijan offers to both domestic and international entrepreneurs. The significant investments made by UAE firms in different sectors of Azerbaijan’s economy were commended.
There was a shared optimism that the UAE business delegation’s visit would lead to fruitful outcomes.
The meeting explored potential avenues of cooperation in investment, industry—which includes the mining sector—and other relevant fields.
