Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander Resigns Following Fatal Strike
Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander Mykhailo Drazhbaty announced on Sunday that he has stepped down from his position. He cited a sense of “responsibility” following a Russian strike that resulted in the deaths of at least 12 soldiers at a training site.
In his statement, Drazhbaty remarked, “I have decided to resign from my role as the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” He explained that this decision was driven by “a personal sense of responsibility” due to similar deadly attacks in recent months.
