Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah Inaugurates Sihet Kabda Council

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, inaugurated the Seih Kabda Council yesterday, a community facility aimed at serving local residents and fostering social connections. This venue, which accommodates around 200 people, is part of his initiative to establish neighborhood councils throughout the emirate, intended to enhance community engagement, strengthen national identity, and facilitate participation in national, civic, and religious events. It also aims to alleviate burdens on citizens by providing a range of social and economic support services.

His Highness expressed joy at being able to share the opening of this significant facility with the residents of Seih Kabda, acknowledging its role in promoting social cohesion through various initiatives and programs it will host. The council serves as a unique gathering space, helping to maintain and transmit the authentic Emirati values of solidarity and mutual support across generations, while instilling a sense of national pride and loyalty to the wise leadership.

He noted that this initiative aligns with the activities of the “Year of Community” declared by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, under the slogan “Hand in Hand.” This initiative aims to promote unity and connections among the people of the UAE by preserving cultural heritage, enhancing intergenerational communication, and creating inclusive spaces that reinforce values of cooperation, belonging, and shared experiences. Such efforts aim to foster mutual care, collective progress, and sustainable growth.
Alongside His Highness during the opening were Sheikh Arhama bin Saud bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office, and Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Saud bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Private Secretary to the Crown Prince.
