The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has announced an expansion of its “Nusk Care” centers, increasing their number to over 39 locations and adding 142 additional service points during the Hajj season. These centers will be strategically located in key areas of Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, and the holy sites, as well as at various air, land, and sea ports. This expansion complements the already existing 15 permanent centers that provide services to pilgrims throughout the year.
“Nusk Care” is a comprehensive service system launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in 2019, aimed at enhancing the pilgrimage experience by offering humanitarian, advisory, and health services in real-time. Qualified field teams are distributed across vital locations to act as the primary contact point for pilgrims, handling inquiries and providing immediate solutions to any challenges they may face.
The “Nusk Care” initiative operates on a proactive service model, focusing on initiating contact and reaching pilgrims early through teams strategically positioned in various locations. This approach not only improves service efficiency but also minimizes waiting times. The teams are equipped with staff proficient in 11 languages, including sign language, ensuring effective communication with a diverse range of pilgrims from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Additionally, these centers are technologically connected to the “Nusk” platform, allowing for real-time data coordination among service providers.
