Al Dahra, a leading agribusiness located in the United Arab Emirates, has established an exclusive collaboration with Getreide AG Ukraine to create a specialized supply chain for Ukrainian grain, as detailed by Khaleej Times.
This partnership aims for Al Dahra to acquire between 100,000 and 150,000 tonnes of grains each year from Ukraine, with plans to expand this quantity to over 500,000 tonnes. Ukraine is recognized as a major global exporter of essential crops, including wheat, corn, and barley.
Both companies are collaborating closely to finalize the integration of their operations before the commencement of Ukraine’s agricultural season in July 2025.
The alliance is projected to enhance Al Dahra’s current operations in Serbia, Romania, Egypt, and the United States, while offering a steady and reliable supply chain for customers in the Middle East and Africa.
Arnoud van den Berg, the CEO of Al Dahra Group, highlighted the strategic value of the partnership, stating:
“This agreement signifies a major advancement in securing reliable supply chains on a global scale. Our exclusive partnership with Getreide AG Ukraine places us at the center of a vital agricultural area, enhancing our capacity to meet the increasing global food demands.”
Al Dahra operates in over 20 countries, focusing on grain farming, trading, and processing. The company has a trading hub in Constanța, Romania, which facilitates the sourcing of grains such as wheat, barley, soybeans, sunflowers, and corn from the Black Sea region.
