Government schools implement the public examination policy.

Government schools in various Emirates have announced the general policy for the implementation of the end-of-term exams for the academic year 2024-2025. The policy includes a set of organizational instructions and guidelines to ensure the smooth conduct of exams.

According to the instructions, the testing period will start from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, with vehicle reception beginning at 8:30 am. All students are required to bring their laptops, either ministry-issued or school-owned, fully charged and with unauthorized applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Snapchat, and VPNs deleted.

The instructions also state that any attempt by a student to exit the exam page or open any other program or website will result in the automatic closure of the exam and a ban. Technical support teams are ready to intervene quickly in case of any technical glitches during the exam period.

The exam duration is set at two hours, with a paper-based format for fifth-grade students and an electronic format for sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade students in Islamic Education and Social Studies subjects.

Students are reminded to bring all stationery supplies individually, avoid sharing, follow behavioral regulations, refrain from cheating or bullying, and comply with the official school uniform. It is recommended to arrive at least half an hour before the exam to avoid delays or confusion.

The Ministry of Education has approved the timetable for the end-of-term exams for the academic year 2024/2025 for government and private schools following the ministry’s curriculum. The final exams will commence on June 10th and run until June 19th, with June 2nd to 4th designated for the submission of final projects and assignments for Group B subjects.
