The Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain Performs Eid Al-Adha Prayer at Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al-Mualla Mosque in the Al-Ras Area

The honorable Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, participated in the Eid Al-Adha prayer at Sheikh Ahmad bin Rashid Al Mualla Mosque, located in the Al-Ras area of Umm Al-Quwain.

Joining His Highness were Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, the Crown Prince of Umm Al-Quwain, and Sheikh Ahmad bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, the Deputy Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain.

Also present for the prayer were several dignitaries, including His Excellency Sheikh Hamid bin Ahmad Al Mualla, Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Amiri Diwan, Sheikh Saif bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Department of Economic Development, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Financial Monitoring Department, Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities, Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Financial Department, Sheikh Ali bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Municipality Department, Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Smart Government Department, Sheikh Hamid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Office of the Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, Sheikh Ahmad bin Nasser bin Ahmad Al Mualla, the Special Advisor to the Ruler, along with numerous senior officials, citizens, and members of various Arab and Islamic communities within the emirate.

The prayer was led by Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim Hamid, who emphasized in his sermon the importance of piety, steadfastness in worship, and sincerity in devotion to God. He expressed his wishes for a blessed Eid, enriched with blessings and gifts, and prayed for the well-being of the nation and its leadership, as well as for continued happiness within the community.

The preacher highlighted that sincerity is at the heart of worship and the essence of values, serving as the foundation of good morals and an essential protector of rights and obligations. He remarked on the high status of love for one’s country as one of the highest forms of sincerity, noting that those who are devoted to their homeland do not hesitate to serve it, uphold its reputation, adhere to its laws, cherish its heritage, and strive for its advancement.

Furthermore, he pointed out that one of the greatest forms of sincerity is one’s commitment to family and community, underscoring the roles of children who honor their parents, maintain ties with relatives, and are devoted and generous towards their spouses and children.

The preacher made supplications for the protection and safety of the United Arab Emirates from all harm, asking for the safeguarding of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, along with his Vice Presidents and fellow members of the Supreme Council of Rulers, wishing for their success in bringing good and happiness to their people and serving Islam and Muslims.

He also prayed for the mercy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the founding members, may their souls rest in peace, as well as for the martyrs of the nation.

After the prayer concluded, the Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, the Crown Prince, and the Deputy Ruler exchanged congratulatory messages with the sheikhs and senior officials on this joyful occasion.
