English 12 Evaluates Skills and Considers Individual Differences

Students: Clarity of Questions Gave Us Confidence and Comfort

Twelfth-grade students, yesterday, took the end-of-semester exam for the third academic year 2024-2025 in the English language subject at government and private schools implementing the Ministry of Education curriculum. Most of the students expressed satisfaction with the level of the exam, confirming that the questions were easy and clear, giving them a feeling of confidence and comfort during the solution.

Individual Differences

Students considered the exam to be diverse and included reading and writing skills, which made it easy for them to navigate between the questions and answer them smoothly. It also considered individual differences and covered the concepts taught throughout the year, making the exam experience positive and suitable for their expectations.

School administrations confirmed that students with disabilities are evaluated based on their individual needs as individual cases and are treated according to their individual educational plan. Students who undergo an individual educational plan “alignment – adaptation” have a testing and assessment mechanism equivalent to the students’ category.

According to the guidance manual issued by the School Education Foundation, students undergoing an individual educational plan “adjusting learning outcomes – adjusting curricula” will have tests or assessments specifically provided by teachers, which must be compatible with the learning outcomes in their individual educational plan and monitor their grades in the system.

Disciplinary Measures

In a related context, school administrations called on students to avoid damaging exam papers, erasing them, causing chaos, speaking, intentionally exchanging conversation, cheating, attempting to cheat during exams in any way, helping others, borrowing spatial tools, facilitating or delivering tools in any form. These behaviors are considered violations and disruptions to the testing system, and disciplinary measures will be taken.

When a student is caught for the first time, 12 points are deducted from the behavior grade, and a “zero” grade is recorded in the subject where cheating or assistance was provided, or in case of damaging the exam paper, with the student being deprived of entering the makeup test and a report being submitted to the school educational committee to make the appropriate decision.

Repeated violations result in a deduction of 12 points from the behavior grade, a “zero” grade in all subjects, with deprivation from entering makeup exams, a report being submitted to the school educational committee to make the decision, and the student being referred to the “behavior evaluation” committee in coordination with the relevant authorities based on the situation.
