Mcdonald’s UAE donates all proceeds from Sundae sales to support the Red Crescent Medical Center on June 12th.

McDonald’s UAE is gearing up to launch the “Happiness Day at McDonald’s” for the first time across the UAE on Thursday, June 12th, in a campaign aimed at improving access to much-needed healthcare services for those in need. On this day, all proceeds from the sales of the Sundae, in all McDonald’s UAE restaurants and through the app, will be donated to the Emirates Red Crescent Medical Center. This campaign is part of the close partnership between McDonald’s UAE and the Emirates Red Crescent for seven years.

With the summer approaching, McDonald’s UAE offers its customers the opportunity to enjoy their favorite Sundae flavors, including chocolate, strawberry, or caramel, while contributing to a noble cause. This special day reflects McDonald’s UAE’s continued commitment to the local community, where every purchase contributes to enhancing the healthcare services provided by the Emirates Red Crescent Medical Center.

Walid Fakih, CEO of McDonald’s UAE, said: “Happiness Day at McDonald’s provides an opportunity to unify efforts and make a tangible positive difference in the community. We have been working hard over the past year to raise donations for the Emirates Red Crescent Medical Center, and we have seen the significant impact of our customers’ donations. Therefore, we continue our efforts to launch new initiatives that contribute to fundraising and enhance our community efforts across various regions of the UAE, in line with the noble principles and values of community service.”

The Emirates Red Crescent Medical Center provides free medical services to those in need in the UAE, regardless of age or nationality, and is the only center of its kind in the country. McDonald’s UAE continues its support for the center through “Happiness Day at McDonald’s” and other initiatives, including donating directly in restaurants or through rewards points in the McDonald’s app.

All McDonald’s UAE customers can support this campaign on June 12th by visiting the restaurants or ordering through the McDonald’s app to enjoy delicious Sundae flavors and contribute to a noble humanitarian initiative.
