President Donald Trump renewed his call on the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by a full percentage point, describing the latest inflation data as “fantastic.”
Taking to his preferred social media platform, Trump tweeted: “Just out: Consumer Price Index data, fantastic! Fed should cut (interest rates) by a full percentage point, we will be paying much less in interest on existing debt, and it will be very good for us!
