The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement emphasizing the necessity for maximum restraint and prudence to avert risks and prevent the widening of conflict.
The ministry reiterated the UAE’s belief that fostering dialogue, abiding by international laws, and respecting the sovereignty of nations are the fundamental principles for resolving current crises.
Furthermore, the UAE stressed the importance of addressing disputes through diplomatic channels rather than through confrontation and escalation. It called on the Security Council to undertake urgent and necessary measures to implement a ceasefire and establish international peace and security.
