Hamdan bin Zayed Welcomes Russian Ambassador to the UAE

Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the Ruler in the Al Dhafra region, received the Russian Ambassador to the UAE, Timur Zabirov, at the Al Nahyan Palace in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in various political, economic, and cultural fields to achieve mutual interests and strengthen cooperation between the two sides.

Sheikh Hamdan praised the strong relations between the UAE and Russia, emphasizing the leadership’s keenness, under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to enhance bilateral cooperation to consolidate the UAE’s position internationally and enhance its relations with various countries based on mutual respect and constructive cooperation.

On his part, the Russian Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the development in the relations between the two countries, commending the UAE’s regional and international role in supporting security and stability.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Nasser Mohamed Al Mansouri, Deputy Diwan of the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra region, Issa Hamad Boushahab, Advisor to the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra region, and Khadim Al Derai, Advisor to the Diwan of the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra region, along with several other officials.
