The Assassination of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Leader Hossein Salami in the Israeli Attack

Iranian news agencies have reported that Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, was killed during extensive airstrikes conducted by Israel on Iran early Friday morning.

The Tasnim news agency stated that “Major General Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was martyred in an attack by the Israeli entity on the Revolutionary Guard’s headquarters,” a claim that was also corroborated by the Mehr news agency.
