Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, chaired the third meeting of the Smart Autonomous Systems Council, which took place at the Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, attendees reviewed completed projects and initiatives within the smart autonomous systems sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The discussions also highlighted significant technological advancements and regulatory updates, as well as rapid developments occurring in this vital sector on local, regional, and global levels.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the council will continue to advance the smart autonomous systems sector in Abu Dhabi, viewing it as a strategic pillar of the digital and technological transformation framework. He expressed appreciation for the efforts and collaboration of various stakeholders involved.
He pointed out the necessity of expanding investments in innovation, research-driven solutions, and technologies, along with unifying efforts among relevant entities to stimulate growth in this crucial sector, thus enhancing its performance and operational efficiency in the upcoming phase. This aims to solidify Abu Dhabi’s international standing in the development of future technologies.
