The Public Prosecution in Abu Dhabi has launched a comprehensive suite of new smart services as part of its initiative to reduce bureaucracy and enhance the user experience. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency of judicial services, simplify procedures, and provide an advanced system that aligns with the government’s shift towards digital transformation.
The newly introduced package includes 35 automated services and processes that require no human intervention, ensuring quick execution and precise data management. Users can conveniently complete their transactions through available digital platforms around the clock.
These updated services streamline several procedures related to the tasks of the Public Prosecution, allowing for the automatic issuance of various legal documents such as non-appeal certificates, non-violation certificates, statements regarding passport detention durations, certificates for pertinent parties, case summaries, requests for copies of judgments, certificates of detention or imprisonment, and penalty payments.
Ali Mohammed Al Balushi, the Attorney General of Abu Dhabi, affirmed that the rollout of these smart solutions aligns with the directives of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Court, urging the transition to an advanced judicial system based on innovation and modern technologies.
He elaborated that these services are accessible via the Judicial Department’s electronic portal and mobile application, eliminating the need for paper transactions, as manual signatures and traditional seals have been replaced with digital documents that are electronically signed and validated. This shift enhances operational efficiency and service quality.
Additionally, Al Balushi highlighted that this initiative represents a significant advancement in judicial service development, saving time and resources for users and promoting the principle of swift justice through advanced digital solutions. This reflects the Public Prosecution’s commitment to contributing to sustainable development goals in Abu Dhabi and fostering institutional innovation.
He also mentioned that the Abu Dhabi Public Prosecution continues to expand its digital initiatives, developing innovative services that keep pace with rapid changes in the judicial and legal sectors, thereby efficiently meeting client needs and further establishing Abu Dhabi as a leading center for justice in the region.
