Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Women’s Foundation, congratulated the United Arab Emirates for achieving first place regionally in the Gender Gap Report for this year, published by the World Economic Forum. The UAE also improved its ranking by five positions overall, highlighting the ongoing achievements of Emirati women, which are supported by the wise leadership and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, known as the “Mother of the Nation,” who is the President of the General Women’s Union, the Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and the President of the Family Development Foundation.
In a post on the social media platform X, Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed expressed her pride: “Congratulations to the United Arab Emirates for securing first place regionally in the Gender Gap Report 2025 issued by the World Economic Forum, as well as for advancing five ranks in the overall ranking.”
She further added: “Thanks to the unwavering support from our esteemed leaders and ‘Mother of the Nation’ Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the success of Emirati women continues. We are proud that the UAE ranks first globally in several sub-indicators of the report, including in education at both school and higher levels, and in the representation of women in parliament.
