The Head of State Discusses Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments with the Prime Ministers of Iraq and Greece via Phone

Yesterday, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, engaged in a telephone conversation with Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq. They discussed the bilateral relations and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.

During their dialogue, the two leaders also reviewed developments in the Middle East and acknowledged the threats posed to regional security and stability. They stressed the importance of de-escalation, exercising restraint, and resolving conflicts through diplomatic means to benefit the region and its inhabitants.

Additionally, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed had a phone call yesterday with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Prime Minister of Greece. They focused on their bilateral relations and identified ways to strengthen and expand their collaboration under the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between their nations.

The conversation also addressed recent events in the Middle East and their serious implications for regional peace and security. Both leaders underscored the necessity of increasing efforts toward calming tensions and resolving disputes through diplomatic channels.
