For the seventh consecutive day, hostilities between Israel and Iran have escalated, marked by significant explosions across various regions of Israel, including the north, central, and southern areas. These incidents follow Iran’s launch of numerous missiles and drones towards Israel, deemed to be “the fiercest assault” since the onset of the conflict, targeting military command and intelligence facilities. A notable development is Iran’s introduction of multi-warhead missiles aimed at Israel’s nuclear reactors for the first time.
Yesterday, the Israeli military reported that approximately 20 aircraft conducted a series of airstrikes in western Iran, targeting ground-to-ground missile sites and Iranian forces.
The military also indicated that they observed movements of trucks carrying ground-to-ground missiles, which were struck as they arrived at a launch site.
Additionally, the United States is preparing for the possibility of a military strike against Iran “within days.” President Donald Trump has reportedly communicated his approval of attack plans on Tehran to senior aides, although this potential U.S. action has sparked divisions among Trump’s supporters who are urging against further military entanglements.
In response, Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, advising against interference in the ongoing developments.
These events unfold amid efforts from several major nations to de-escalate tensions between the two countries.
