The Drug Prevention Forum 2025 concluded yesterday, organized by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Council and the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. The event was held under the theme “Aware Family… Safe Community” on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
The forum, which commenced on June 19 and spanned 11 days, featured participation from a distinguished group of specialists and experts from various governmental and private entities.
The Drug Prevention Forum consisted of 320 discussion sessions focused on community prevention issues and family cohesion. Additionally, it offered 920 counseling sessions, including psychological, social, and family support provided by professionals in mental health and family assistance. The forum also produced 33 educational podcast episodes and issued 8,800 participation certificates.
Among the various engaging activities and innovative programs presented at the forum were the Drug Prevention Council, the Future Leaders Council, psychological and social counseling sessions, as well as discussion panels and the Prevention Podcast program.
