Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian emphasized the country’s readiness for extensive collaboration with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, expressing hope for a renewed chapter in regional relations. He pointed out the urgent need to strengthen ties and foster cooperation among Islamic nations.
This statement was made during the cabinet meeting that he led on Sunday, as reported by the Iranian news agency IRNA.
Regarding the interactions between Iran and the Gulf Arab nations, President Pezeshkian affirmed Iran’s commitment to establishing comprehensive relations with the GCC, aiming to enhance bonds with neighboring countries in the region. He stressed that this vision is driven by the vital necessity for solidarity and comprehensive collaboration among Islamic countries.
Recently, Gulf, Arab, and Islamic nations condemned the attacks carried out by Israel on Iran starting on the 13th of this month, which lasted over ten days and targeted nuclear and military facilities.
