Throughout six decades in public service, I have witnessed commendable examples of men and women who dedicated their lives to serving others.

Thank you to everyone who has made serving humanity their primary cause and greatest concern throughout their lives.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, expressed his gratitude to government employees in the nation, as well as to all individuals who have prioritized serving humanity as their main mission and lifelong commitment.

He noted that during his six decades in public service, he has seen admirable examples of individuals who devoted their lives to serving the community, creating an environment where people can thrive and realize their dreams, aspirations, stability, and dignity.

This message was shared in a post on “X” yesterday, coinciding with the recognition of “Public Service Day,” established by the United Nations on June 23 each year to celebrate this cause.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated in the post: “The United Nations has designated June 23 as ‘Public Service Day’ to acknowledge the efforts of government employees in serving the people.”

He added, “Over almost six decades I have spent in this field, I have witnessed remarkable examples of men and women who dedicated their lives to serving others through the provision of healthcare, education, housing, electricity, and water, as well as legislation aimed at creating an environment where individuals can grow and fulfill their dreams and ambitions, ensuring their stability and dignity.”

He concluded, “Thank you to our government employees today, every day, and to all who have made serving humanity their primary mission and greatest concern throughout their lives.”
