World Bank Delegation Explores Advanced Digital Services of Dubai Police

A delegation from the World Bank, including government representatives from Zimbabwe and Rwanda, visited the Dubai Police General Command to explore the latest advancements in advanced technology services and artificial intelligence systems utilized within Dubai’s security and service framework. This visit aims to enhance international cooperation by facilitating the exchange of expertise and best practices in governance and innovation.

This meeting coincided with the delegation’s participation in the inaugural session of the “International Digital Transformation Program for Global Leaders,” organized by the Government Knowledge Exchange Office (GEEO) in collaboration with the World Bank over five days last week.

The program is designed to solidify the UAE’s status as a leading destination for governance and development management by showcasing exemplary experiences and highlighting significant digital initiatives offered by governmental institutions.

Lieutenant General Khaled Naser Al-Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police, stated that digital transformation is a core strategic pillar for enhancing performance and security quality. He expressed enthusiasm in sharing their experience with international partners like the World Bank to foster global collaboration and share knowledge in the realms of government innovation. Al-Razooqi emphasized Dubai Police’s commitment to technological and innovative excellence and expressed pride in having their experience recognized as part of such a prominent international program.

Upon arrival, the delegation was welcomed by Colonel Engineer Hussein Bin Ghleita, Deputy Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence for Smart Applications, who led a tour showcasing the Smart Police Station (SPS) as one of the advanced practices demonstrating practical digital transformation in law enforcement services without human intervention and in an integrated manner, operating 24/7.

The delegation also learned about key smart initiatives and projects launched by Dubai Police, which serve as an inspiring model for employing artificial intelligence and advanced technology to enhance institutional and security operations.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed their appreciation for Dubai Police’s pioneering experience, affirming that their achievements reflect a high institutional commitment towards a secure and intelligent future, placing Dubai Police at the forefront of global law enforcement agencies in the field of digital innovation.
