The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Land Department to enhance collaboration in areas of mobility, real estate services, and logistical integration. This initiative aims to facilitate data exchange and develop user-friendly and secure digital services, aligning with Dubai’s government objectives to deliver services that meet user expectations and improve the quality of life in the emirate, adhering to the best local, regional, and global practices.
This MoU, signed at the RTA’s headquarters in the presence of Ahmad Mahboob, Executive Director of the Licensing Agency, and Majid Saqr Al-Muari, CEO of the Registration and Real Estate Services Sector at the Land Department, is geared towards supporting the emirate’s vision of providing innovative and sustainable solutions that meet aspirations and advance strategic goals in smart and digital infrastructure, as well as enhancing user experience in line with the “360 Comprehensive Services” plan. This plan represents a new vision for seamless and proactive services that integrate with the unified Dubai app (Dubai Now) and other government platforms.
The agreement emphasizes strengthening cooperation between the two entities to achieve mutual interests and the optimal use of resources, aligning with environmental and economic goals. It aims to leverage joint collaboration to position Dubai as a key destination for logistical and real estate services through effective marketing and development strategies, with potential future expansions to include new initiatives.
Ahmad Mahboob affirmed the RTA’s commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided to both individuals and institutions, adhering to the highest international standards. This is based on the principle of developing and improving the smart solutions network through advanced services, streamlining procedures, and boosting operational efficiency and sustainability.
He added that signing this MoU with the Land Department enhances strategic partnerships between government entities to accelerate the digital transformation in the emirate, contributing to the reengineering of services provided to users by employing advanced technologies and integrating data with local and federal bodies to further enhance these services.
