The supplementary grants committee for retirees in Sharjah has approved 111 new applications under the supplementary support program for retirees, with a total annual cost of 4,955,503.08 dirhams. This decision came during the eighth meeting of the committee chaired by Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, a member of the Executive Council of Sharjah and head of the Human Resources Department, which examined a total of 133 applications presented for review.
The approval of these applications reflects Sharjah’s commitment to enhancing the social welfare system for retirees and supporting their financial stability through supplementary grants that address their essential needs. The committee emphasized its dedication to thoroughly and effectively reviewing applications to ensure prompt decisions and promote social equity, in alignment with the emirate’s vision of caring for various community segments.
