Dubai Courts Win Three International Awards

Dubai Courts achieved significant recognition by winning three international awards in the justice category at the GovMedia Awards held in Singapore. This recognition is a tribute to their innovative initiatives aimed at promoting justice, legal awareness, and community engagement. The awards were for three key initiatives: “Happy Family,” the illustrated child law “Wadima,” and the “Stay Legal” initiative. These initiatives were part of a presentation that emphasized Dubai Courts’ philosophy of “preventative justice,” which seeks to minimize disputes through early education and the dissemination of legal culture within the community.

Dubai Courts received awards for “Campaign of the Year,” “Social Justice and Community Integration Initiative,” and “Best Engagement with Partners.” These accolades reflect the institution’s excellence in integrating judicial responsibilities with social duty.

The awards were presented to Aliaa Al-Majed, Director of the Strategy and Corporate Performance Department at Dubai Courts, during the ceremony attended by government representatives from various Asian and Middle Eastern countries.

The winning initiatives illustrate Dubai Courts’ commitment to the synergy between judicial and social roles. The “Happy Family” initiative focuses on strengthening family bonds through awareness workshops and community partnerships. Meanwhile, the illustrated child law “Wadima” introduces legal concepts to children in an interactive and simplified manner. Additionally, the “Stay Legal” initiative provides free digital legal consultations aimed at enhancing overall legal awareness.
