His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, hosted the team involved in the production of the podcast “The Document” at his council in Abu Dhabi. This national media initiative was launched by the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in collaboration with the Trends Research and Advisory Center, aiming to document key milestones in the history of the United Arab Emirates and present them through the voices and creativity of people of determination within a contemporary cultural framework.
He praised the project for its national and humanitarian significance, highlighting that “The Document” serves as a pioneering model in leveraging media to strengthen national identity and empower people of determination to actively contribute to shaping the historical narrative of the nation.
He expressed his joy at meeting this inspiring team, stating that the “The Document” project embodies the core values of tolerance, empowerment, and community partnership. People of determination have set an honorable example in media creativity, demonstrating their capability to convey the nation’s history in a profound and impactful way.
These efforts reflect the wise and inspiring vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, who places great emphasis on the significance and role of people of determination in community building and development activities.
Abdullah Abdulali Al Hamidan, the Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, expressed his deep pride in meeting His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, commending the continued support provided by the minister to people of determination and the significant moral support for the project team.
Additionally, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan directed an increase in the capacity of schools and centers participating in the summer programs for the National Fund, following an unexpected high turnout during the first two days. He affirmed that all young Emiratis have the right to participate in and benefit from these initiatives across the country.
He also encouraged every participating school and cultural and youth center to document their daily activities through photographs and videos throughout the summer programs. The best schools will be evaluated based on the quality of their activities and interactions with students and parents. He emphasized the importance of motivating participants in the “Arabic Language of the Qur’an” program by organizing internal competitions in each class and school for reciting and memorizing selected Quranic verses, as well as for Tajweed and recitation.
This was shared during his ongoing oversight of the summer programs of the National Fund, which commenced two days ago across all Emirates and witnessed significant attendance and registration in the previous days.
Yasser Al-Qurqawi, Director General of the National Fund, acknowledged the contributions of the participating schools and centers in the summer programs, recognizing their immense impact in achieving success and excellence while fostering satisfaction and happiness among parents and participating students.
