The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has been awarded the title of “Champion of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2025” for its innovative project, the “Digital Employee Experience,” in the category of e-recruitment.
This recognition highlights the Authority’s commitment to outstanding global initiatives that accelerate digital transformation.
During the recent tenth session of the World Summit on the Information Society held in Geneva, Switzerland, with substantial support from the United Nations, numerous delegations and experts in information technology and telecommunications from around the globe were in attendance.
The “Digital Employee Experience” initiative, launched as part of the UAE government’s efforts to eliminate bureaucracy, aims to provide a seamless and innovative digital experience for federal government employees. This approach leverages artificial intelligence to ensure alignment with the latest global design trends through user-friendly, tailored interfaces to meet the specific needs of each employee.
Significant Advancement
Since its inception, the project has created a significant transformation, yielding positive results by enabling an efficient digital journey for over 80,000 employees across 35 federal entities. The initiative has streamlined processes by reducing the number of steps required to complete HR services by 58% compared to the previous system, while also shortening service delivery times by 56%.
Moreover, it has facilitated the integration of the digital employee interface with other digital systems across governmental entities and enhanced the speed of response to inquiries through a smart assistant, which has improved the efficiency and speed of AI-supported service delivery.

Her Excellency Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, and Chairperson of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, emphasized the importance of enhancing government flexibility and readiness, empowering talents, and developing the capabilities of government personnel.

Faissal Saeed bin Batty Al-Mahiri, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, stated that the Digital Employee Experience project is an integral part of the UAE government’s mission to eliminate bureaucracy and enhance the government’s human resources system via intelligent, integrated digital solutions supported by artificial intelligence.
He noted that the Authority has developed the digital employee experience through user-friendly digital interfaces, which are digitally connected to various systems across governmental entities, thereby enhancing the overall employee experience.
This initiative not only boosts operational efficiency but also aligns with the government’s continuous development and modernization efforts, enhancing workforce competitiveness and effectiveness.
