DUBAI: The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, alongside the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, convened to explore ways to enhance educational and community initiatives. This meeting was attended by Ahmad Darwish Al-Mehairi, the Director General of the Department, and Aisha Abdullah Miran, the Director General of the Authority, along with several key officials from both organizations.
During the discussions, the two parties reviewed significant outcomes from educational and community initiatives born out of their partnership agreement. Noteworthy projects included the “Generations” program associated with the Neighborhood Nursery, the Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum Holy Quran Competition, and the School Muezzin Initiative.
Both sides deliberated on avenues for further development of these initiatives, aiming to broaden their impact within schools and the community as a whole.
The meeting underscored the critical importance of strengthening collaboration between the educational and religious sectors in Dubai. This cooperation is essential to instill national identity and community values in future generations, aligning with the aspirations of the Dubai government regarding educational and community development.
