Anwar Gargash: Meeting Between Mohammed bin Zayed and the Judiciary Reinforces UAE’s Commitment to Syria’s Success in This Critical Phase

His Excellency Dr. Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, highlighted that the meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and President Ahmad al-Shara of Syria demonstrates the strong fraternal ties between the two nations and affirms the UAE’s commitment to supporting Syria during this critical juncture.

Dr. Gargash stressed that economic and developmental success is essential for placing Syria on the path to recovery and prosperity.

He noted that the focus on economic and developmental issues was central to the discussions, and the inspiring accomplishments of the large Syrian community in the UAE, which numbers nearly 400,000, play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and the UAE’s pivotal involvement.

In a message on social media, Dr. Gargash stated: “The meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the President of the UAE, and President Ahmad al-Shara illustrates the depth of fraternal relations and underscores the UAE’s dedication to Syria’s success during this pivotal phase. The economic and developmental focus was central to this discussion, with the remarkable achievements of the sizable Syrian community in the UAE, close to 400,000 individuals, being one of the keys to cooperation and the UAE’s essential role.”

He concluded: “Economic and developmental success can place Syria on the road to recovery and prosperity.”
