Etihad Airways has announced a major digital enhancement to its corporate travel services with the introduction of the Etihad for Business portal. This initiative marks a key step in the airline’s digital evolution and aligns with the commencement of its first flight to Al Alamein, Egypt, underscoring Etihad’s dedication to both corporate and leisure travelers.

The newly launched portal allows corporate clients to oversee their complete travel program via a single, intuitive digital platform, as reported by WAM.

Organizations can now track travel expenses, access contract information, and redeem travel-related credits in real time.

“We have designed a system that places control directly in the hands of our corporate partners,” stated Javier Alija, Vice President of Global Sales & Distribution at Etihad Airways. “Businesses can manage every aspect from performance evaluations to benefit redemptions through a singular, user-friendly interface.”

The Etihad for Business initiative rewards firms with credits based on their travel volume, which can be exchanged for numerous perks such as seat enhancements, lounge access, priority check-in, and ground transportation services—aimed at improving the travel experience for corporate workers.

Essential Features Enhance Flexibility and Insight

The platform is designed to optimize business travel processes and alleviate administrative tasks. Among its key offerings are:

  • Real-time performance tracking

  • Clear tiering requirements

  • Automated reporting features

  • Capabilities for managing contracts

  • Self-service for benefit redemptions

  • Dedicated online support and account services

Organizations, regardless of size, can choose different service levels based on their travel requirements, with advanced analytics and expanded functionalities anticipated in future updates.

“Managing business travel should be simple, not complex,” added Alija. “Our portal offers just that—a straightforward experience that enables companies to maximize the advantages of their travel programs.”

Etihad Introduces Al Alamein as a Seasonal Summer Destination

Alongside its digital enhancements, Etihad Airways has initiated its first-ever service to Al Alamein (DBB), a picturesque coastal city in Egypt. This new seasonal route expands the airline’s summer offerings with bi-weekly flights from Abu Dhabi, operating on Thursdays and Sundays.

“The commencement of Al Alamein services illustrates our strategic intent to broaden Etihad’s network to cater to high-demand seasonal routes,” remarked Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways. “As the interest in leisure travel rises, locations like Al Alamein present great appeal for our passengers looking for premium summer experiences.”

These dual initiatives exemplify Etihad’s dynamic strategy—investing in digital transformation while expanding its network to broaden its customer reach. With the introduction of enhanced business travel tools and a growing array of leisure destinations, Etihad continues to position itself as an innovative global airline.
