From October 26, 2025, Emirates will introduce flights EK903/904 to Amman using a newly upgraded four-class A380 that includes a Premium Economy section. With this enhancement, both daily flights to Amman will showcase the latest products available from Emirates, as stated in a report from the Emirates Media Centre.
Additionally, starting from the same date, the Indian city of Mumbai will receive service from a retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK504/505, providing more passengers access to Emirates’ latest cabin offerings on 22 weekly journeys to this major commercial hub.
From October 30, the airline will deploy the Airbus A350 for services EK862/863 to Muscat every Thursday and Saturday. This enhancement will extend the distinguished A350 experience to all nine weekly flights serving the Omani capital.
Furthermore, beginning December 4, Bahrain will see an extra retrofitted Boeing 777 operating on EK833/834 every Thursday. This upgrade ensures that all flights to Bahrain are conducted using aircraft featuring Emirates’ signature updated cabins, including Premium Economy and a refreshed Business Class section.
Expanding Premium Economy Across the Network
These upgrades are part of a broader effort to expand Emirates’ Premium Economy offerings, now reaching over 635 weekly flights. By the upcoming winter season, 68 cities will benefit from aircraft featuring Premium Economy cabins, with 36 of these being exclusively operated by such models.
With increasing demand for premium travel, Emirates aims to provide more than 2 million Premium Economy seats annually by the conclusion of 2025, a rise from the current 1.8 million.
This fleet-wide refurbishment is part of one of the most extensive retrofit programs in aviation history. So far, 67 aircraft have undergone upgrades, with renovations occurring at a rate of one aircraft every three weeks. The airline targets a total of 219 retrofitted aircraft, including 110 Airbus A380s and 109 Boeing 777s. In addition, Emirates is currently operating nine A350s across 15 international destinations.
